How to Install the Material Design Color Palette in Inkscape

Some friends here already know the color palette of this material. This pallet is made by google design team. Which is also one of my favorite color palettes. I've used this material color palette. Maybe it has been years for my design project. In my opinion, the color palette of this material is very cool, calm and soft and can be combined with other material colors (usually for logos or flyers). So I no longer need to find the right color via HSL (Hue, Saturation, and Lightness).

There are quite a lot of viewers on my YouTube channel asking me. That's what color palette is used in Inkscape. And how to show "Swatches" on the left side of the Inkscape window.

Before opening Inkscape, make sure you have a .gpl (Material-Color) file. You can get it at the following link

DOWNLOAD

I really thank https://github.com/kissflow/ for creating this file.
After that, extract then copy and paste the .gpl file
Linux : ~/.config/inkscape/palettes/

OS X : ~/.config/inkscape/palettes/

Windows : C\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\inkscape\palettes\
Then, open Inkscape… Activate Swatches via the View - Swatches menu or via the Shift+Ctrl+W keyboard. Then to display the material color palette, click this triangle mark, then select Material Design
